WAM Tennis at the Beckenham Green Market

WAM and Beckenham Sports Club had a fantastic afternoon in the sun, at the Beckenham Green Market yesterday. It was incredibly busy and we had lots of fun with children and adults picking up the rackets and having a go. Although we may have been slightly overshadowed by the beautiful pooches who were taking part in the novelty dog show behind us - thank goodness they were so busy parading, they didn’t clock the tennis balls!

Who Knew Feeding Smashes Could Be So Hard!

We had another fabulous Leaders afternoon this week. This week we focused on feeding a variety of shots, starting with forehand and backhand and moving onto volleys and smashes.

There was general consensus that trying to coordinate feeding smashes whilst keeping yourself stocked with balls, was no easy task!

A huge well done to you all - looking forward to seeing you at the next session in a couple of weeks.
